Holy Week

Yesterday was the start of Holy Week, the week wherein Jesus enters Jerusalem, gets betrayed by Judas, and crucified to death... Traditionally, during this time, confessions are popular and plays depicting the passion of the Christ are all over, and the legendary film "The Passion of the Christ" is a fitting film for the week.

However, despite all the preparations and the good stuff, people sometimes tend to forget the true meaning of the Holy Week, which is the death of Christ. Christ sacrificed himself on the cross to save us from our sins and was raised from the dead to return in glory.

We should forget the true meaning of the Holy Week. After all, Christ did that for us, so thats not a reason to celebrate for he liberated us from our sins and opened the gates of paradise for us...
