Cutting the story short, Our school will be closed for 10 days. Now normally we would celebrate, but since the cause is a virus which could infect possibly many students, faculty and staff in DLSU, unfortunately, some of us are quite afraid that we ourselves have the virus.
Personally, yeah I have a head cold, but I don't think it's already A(H1N1), I'll only consult if I have at least 5 of the symptoms of the said disease.
with that said, I just hope that this won't turn into a wide-scale infection of the entire school population. I hope that everyone is careful with regards to everyone in their surroundings.
On a good side though, we have literally 11 days vacation. and for me, who has spent practically the entire summer on On the Job training, it's good that we have this short yet fun vacation. Besides, at least I can celebrate my Birthday and Independence day at home or outside the house.
Well, yeah, there is still the threat of A(H1N1), however, the short vacation should be suffice enough to make up for what could be a dangerous epidemic that could affect the thousands of people who study/teach/work in DLSU.
I just hope and pray there won't be any more cases of A(H1N1) here in DLSU.
